Thank you for your applications. As of March 1, we are no longer accepting applications. Good luck!
Background
Each spring the Foundation of the National Automatic Merchandising Association awards $2,500 post high school non-renewable scholarships to full-time undergraduate students.
Qualifications
An applicant must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a graduating high school senior or student enrolled full-time in a college undergraduate program at an accredited college or university.
- Must maintain and verify a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent.
- Must be the son/daughter/legal dependent of an employee of a NAMA member company and be sponsored by that company.
- Must be an American citizen.
Information for Scholarship Winner
- Each scholarship applies only to the academic year in which it is awarded and will be forfeited if the student does not attend school with a minimum of 12 credits beginning in the fall term.
- The scholarship will be divided throughout the academic calendar year into installments parts for each term. The first installment will be forwarded in the student’s name to the school of choice, prior to registration for classes in the fall of 2010. The remaining funds will be forwarded to the school, prior to registration for classes in succeeding terms upon verification that the recipient has maintained at least a 2.5 on a 4.0 scale grade point average in the previous term. All funds will be dispersed within a consecutive 12-month period.
- All applications were screened by the Foundation Scholarship Committee to ensure they are qualified and complete.
- Applicants may reapply each year for as long as they are eligible. (An applicant may only win once).
- Parent or legal guardian must continue to be employed by the sponsoring company throughout the entire scholarship duration.
- NAMA employees and their families are not eligible.
- Winners will be determined through a random drawing of all eligible applicant names at the NAMA OneShow April 29, 2010 in Chicago, IL. Two alternates will also be selected.
Congratulations to these students for being selected as scholarship recipients!
